Salamander Greetings creates handmade greeting cards made with pressed
flowers grown in family gardens. Each card displays a single flower.
The blue, star-shaped blossom of a borage, a fuschia's long thin stamens,
the wavy edges of a senstive fern -- these are the images found on our
cards. I want you, and the recipient of your card, to pause and truly
see the patterns, intricacies, and colors found in one simple flower.
Salamander Greetings emerged from an afternoon of making cards around a
dining room table in Portland, Oregon. The flowers I use are grown in
two places -- my mother's garden in Oregon and my own garden in New
Hampshire. To learn more about our process, click here.
